- Living Life -

Life is not a race - but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say "thank you", "I love you", and "great job" to someone each day. Go to church, take time for prayer. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental - search for your purpose and do it as best as you can. Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be. Laugh often. Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming. Forgive, it frees the soul. Take time for yourself - plan for longevity. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know. Live for today, enjoy the moment.

.: ZiNg ZaNg ZoOm 9.25 :.

Jackson, Sandy, Brooke, Carissa, Traeson, Talon, Tatum and I went to the circus when it was in town! Thanks to Brooke for getting the tickets! Talon was amazed and was in absolute awe! As for miss Tatum...not so much! As a matter of fact it was quite the opposite, as I knew it would be! She was more interested in the people around us then what was being performed down below. And when she had enough of the people she would fuss and squirm in my lap. It was somewhat of a nightmare, this little girl always has to be on the move. She will not sit still for anything! Seeing Talon enjoy it made it worth it tho. All in all we had fun!

Displayed above is a terrible picture of me! I was a bit frustrated at this point with my cute little wiggle worm!

Talon was so funny with the popcorn! I would look over and see this cute little kid in his seat with this huge thing of popcorn in his lap enjoying the show. It was cute!

It amazes me how they are able to train animals that are ginormous....

....and ferocious!

At first I didnt know what grandpa was holding over Talons head, but then I realized it was the confetti they had after the show! Talon loved it! He would try and grab one as they were falling from the ceiling! I think he called his moneys! On the way to the car he would ask me where are my moneys mom? Ha ha! Cute little kid!

..:: DiNoSaUr MuSuEm & Cupcakes 9.21 ::..

I took the kids to the Museum of Ancient Life down in Thanksgiving Point! Talon loves dinosaurs so he was thrilled being there! The museum had so much to offer from a little discovery room to dress up to sand boxes and other great activities your little one could enjoy! We had a good time!

Look at that form and two at a time! We have an athlete in the making!

Love this pic of Talon!

My little cute dinosaurs!

I think this is a really sweet picture of the two of them! I love how they have each other to entertain and love! They are seriously so cute!

This is how Tatum gets around! Love the bum in the air!
The dino we created!

I got the urge to make some chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and Talon was my little helper! I had him unwrap the peanut butter cups as one of his jobs! He got really into it. There was one time where I wasnt looking and he threw one in the batter. It was pretty funny! Every now and then I would catch him unwrapping one and immediately pop it in his mouth! After the 7th or 8th one I called it quits! If I'd let him he would most likely devour the entire bag!

.:: Utah State Fair 9.20 ::.

Here we are again at the Utah State Fair!! This was the kids third time being there this year! Holy cow! Once with mom, another time with dad and the third with the whole fam! This time around we had tickets to the demolition derby. It was the kids first one! They both enjoyed it, well mostly just Talon. Tatum towards the end got pretty restless. We also had fried p b & j and twinkies! Both were scrumptious, as Talon would like to say!

The only family pic I took there!! Ha ha!

The kids after the derby...Tatum completely out!!!

That is the best smile I have seen from Talon in the longest time!

The big yellow slide....Talon and I had fun goin down on it!

.:: UtAh StaTe FaiR 09.14 ::.

Since we were not able to go the fair the night before I decided to take the kids! It was overcast so it was great in the beginning, but towards the end it started to rain! Besides the typical farm animals they had bears and sharks, which was neat to see! Talon enjoyed the bears!

For some reason Talon was afraid of the sheep. Could you tell?

Talon loves pony rides!! These people were also at the Salt Lake County Fair!!

Fyi dont buy toys from the fair we bought one and it didnt even work!!! I dont know who was more upset, Talon not being able to use his remote control car or me wasting ten dollars!

Eww! Nasty! He kissed his tongue!!!

Pictured above is Talon on the helicopter ride. Minutes after the ride began, it started pouring again! Talon was screaming, crying, and yelling! He was getting soaked! And so was I. Not knowing what to do I just stood there while Tatum was covered up in the double stroller. The man controlling the ride just sat there under his umbrella, didnt even bother turning the ride off! As I stood there chilled I reassured Talon that everything was okay! Thinkin it would make him stop. It didnt! He only screamed louder! I felt bad for the kid next to Talon! He had to deal with the rain and a screaming, crying child. It continued to pour so I decided to get out and under some shelter. And yes I left Talon on the ride since it was still going! I was only fifteen feet away. I waited til the ride was finally over to rescue my screaming child! We then proceeded to get indoors and wait until the rain slowed down to get to the car! By this time I was already drenched and chilled to the bone!
