I have a confession to make. I have been indulging in a little "retail therapy." Some may say that it doesn't work, but I beg to differ! Honestly, it has been awhile since I have bought anything for myself, really it has! Most of all my spending has been on others, mostly on the kiddos. I am not meaning to be frivolous or careless with my spending, but it really has helped me feel better during this challenging time. It doesn't help that the temptations are everywhere from the magazines to
tv and even online to window shopping. Its all over the place!! And it's not just clothes or shoes that temp my debit card either! Hand bags, perfume, make-up, electronics, and furniture are all pleading to go home with me. They know
i'll take care of them and will
thoroughly enjoy them! Sales and coupons don't help either! I love walking out of a store knowing that I just purchased items at a fraction of the cost. I guess you can say that I am just trying to do my part to help the economy. But I think I will manage to get myself under control, I just felt the need to unburden myself with this confession. If I cant control myself, I think the motto is take it one day at a time.
I do want to share my latest find! I usually stay up to date when it comes to little girls fashion. Here is the neatest accessory I've stumbled upon during one of my sessions of "retail therapy!" Who ever thought of this was just brilliant!

I love this! There are interchangeable parts (flower petals & bottle caps) that allow you to mix and match to create a look that you want! Not only are they cute, but they are also inexpensive!! For the whole flower, pictured above, I paid a total of less then 8 bucks! What a great buy! I've paid $14 bucks for a flower once before, never will I make that mistake again!!
I also just wanted to mention that I got the best buy ever at Express Men. I purchased 2 pairs of dressy pants that were originally 60 bucks a pop for $30. They were $30 off! I also a got a casual shirt that was originally $30 for less then $18. And on top of that I had a coupon for $30 off a $75 purchase. So I walked out of there with 3 items that originally was $150, but paid less then $50! I love a great buy! So although it may seem that I am out of control when it comes to spending, I really am not! I tend to wait for things to go on sale or wait until I have a coupon!
.: Disney on Ice :.
Although the theme was Princess Classics, I decided that it would be fun for Talon no matter what was being performed! Everywhere you'd look there were little girls dressed up in their favorite princess costumes! It was really cute! Talon hasn't watched most of the Disney movies so I was afraid that he would not enjoy it and know what was goin on! He did surprise me by yelling out Ariel when she came out! Not once did I consider taking Tatum, not after the circus! But I cant wait to go again and dress her up when she gets a bit older!
We saw Jasmin & Aladdin,
Aurora,
Ariel,
Snow White,
Mulan, Belle, and Cinderella!
Unfortunately my camera died! So I only got a few pics!
Talon and I got cotton candy and it came with a PRINCE crown at the show! He's never had it before so watching him inhale it was hilarious!
.: Sophie the Elf :.
Ever wondered how Santa knew who was naughty or who was nice? With the help of one of the elves, of course! The elf's responsibility was to watch the children and report back to Santa each night and return the next morning in a different location! Fun, huh?
I'm so excited to add this to our Christmas traditions! It seriously is so cute! Talon decided to name the elf Sophie! Why You ask I dont know! He calls Tatum Sophie sometimes when they are playing! Usually when they are pretending to be dogs! But who knows? Sophie it is though!
